But at least one member of “The View” loves Anthony Marshall to pieces: his neighbor and pal, Whoopi Goldberg.

“Please don’t put him in jail,” Goldberg begs in a letter of support filed yesterday in Manhattan.

“It would only amount to an unnecessary cruelty that,” she writes as part of a massive defense effort to keep the 85-year-old Marshall out of jail for his October conviction for looting his philanthropist mother Brooke Astor’s fortune.

“Hasn’t Tony been through enough?” writes Goldberg, who lives in the same East 79th Street building as Marshall.

Her missive was one of more than 70 support letters sent to Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Kirke Bartley, who is set to sentence Marshall on Dec. 21.
