Wild photos captured the remains of an abandoned bus that caught fire underneath the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway on Wednesday.

Firefighters discovered the bus engulfed in flames under the busy expressway near 19th Street between 3rd and 4th avenues in Greenwood Heights just before 7:50 p.m., according to the FDNY.

The raging fire was extinguished by the first arriving units, officials said.

Photos showed the entirely burnt-out hollow metal frame of the bus, which was shockingly upright as first responders examined it.

The bumper also fell from the vehicle, exposing the inner mechanics of the charred vehicle with no remaining windows.

No injuries were reported in connection with the fire, and the owner of the bus is not yet known.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
