A Nassau County judge yesterday ordered the release of 25-year-old documents that a convicted child molester featured in the Oscar-nominated documentary “Capturing the Friedmans” maintains he needs to prove his innocence.

Although Jesse Friedman, 44, and his now-deceased father, Arnold, pleaded guilty in 1988 to abusing 13 children in their Great Neck home, Friedman has maintained that he was coerced into confessing.
