HARTFORD, Conn. — Police say a window washer working at an office building on Oak Street has died after falling off the building’s roof.

Police say the man was apparently standing on the roof lowering supplies to a coworker on Thursday when he fell. He was found unresponsive just after 7 p.m.

His name was not immediately released.

The man was pronounced dead by emergency personnel at the scene.
