A 61-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances inside a Bronx housing complex apartment on Sunday night, police said.

The unidentified victim was discovered with severe head trauma in the living room of a first-floor apartment at NYCHA’s Castle Hill Houses on Seward Avenue near Castle Hill Avenue, cops said. Cops were probing the possibility she had been bludgeoned to death.

Emergency responders pronounced the woman dead on scene.

The city medical examiner will determine her cause of death.
