A 66-year-old woman was found dead inside her Bronx bedroom early Wednesday, cops said.

Carmen Aponte’s adult daughter found her on her bed inside an apartment on Seneca Avenue near Faile Street in Hunts Point around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday and called 911, authorities said.

Responding officers found her unconscious and unresponsive, with trauma to her face. Emergency Medical Service workers pronounced her dead on the scene.

The circumstances were not immediately clear, and the city medical examiner’s office will determine her official cause of death.
