A Bronx woman was charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting her husband in the head and leaving him clinging to life, cops said.
Johanna Pagan-Alomar, 52, allegedly shot her 53-year-old hubby inside their home on Grand Avenue near West 176 Street in Morris Heights around 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

The wounded man was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where his condition is considered very critical. Robert MeceaHe was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, cops and law enforcement sources said.
Pagan-Alomar was arrested early Wednesday and charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon, authorities said.
The couple did not have a prior domestic violence history, and Pagan-Alomar claimed “self defense,” the sources said.
Pagan-Alomar has been arrested four times in the past, but none of them are domestic offenses, cops said.
