A Long Island woman’s tropical vacation was ruined by a lounge lizard of the four-legged variety.

Lynette Mutschler of Stony Brook was hanging out by the pool at Marriott’s Frenchman’s Cove resort in St. Thomas when she was bitten on the leg by an iguana, she claims.

Mutschler, 43, is now suing the hotel in Manhattan federal court for $250,000 for failing to keep the pool area “free from dangerous wildlife.”

She claims the Marriott “actively attracted wildlife onto said premises . . . by allowing food . . . in a manner that was detectable” to the reptiles, according to court papers.

The July 2013 bite became infected, Mutschler’s lawyer, Philip Rizzuto, said.

Marriott did not return a message seeking comment.
