Police arrested a Long Island woman who allegedly preyed on the anguished by stealing cash from cars in cemetery parking lots.

Authorities say Tiffany Radford ghoulishly prowled the parking lot of St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, waiting until mourners were graveside before picking through their unlocked cars.

Suffolk County Police arrested Radford at the First Precinct station house on Monday and charged her with four counts of petit larceny for thefts allegedly committed on April 21, June 17, June 30 and July 15.

Police would not say how much money was taken, but petit larceny is the theft of goods or services valued at $1,000 or less, according to state penal law.

Radford, who was released on bail, is suspected of additional thefts at St. Charles Cemetery, as well as Pinelawn Memorial Park, police said. She has not been charged in those incidents, but the investigation is ongoing.

Police could not provide the name of her lawyer.
