A woman is fighting for her life after she was stabbed in Brooklyn early today, cops said.

The 56-year-old woman was stabbed several times in the torso on Amboy Street near Newport Street shortly before 4 a.m., and was listed in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital, authorities said.

No arrests have been made.

A police source said the victim an extensive drug arrest history, but it was not immediately clear what sparked the violence.
