The Columbia University student who jumped from a seventh floor window of a campus dorm has died, police said.

The 23-year-old woman jumped around 1:30 a.m. and landed on the sidewalk in front of the Broadway residence hall, leaving her critically injured.

She was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital where she died, police said.

Empty pill bottles were discovered inside of her dorm room, police sources said.

The incident is still under investigation.
