A woman was injured when she lost control of her car and slammed into a Bronx hair salon Tuesday, police and witnesses said.

The woman was driving down Tinton Avenue in Morrisania when she blew through a stop sign and crashed through some scaffolding and into the Nubian Hair Studio on East 169th Street around 7:30 a.m.

The woman was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. No one was in the store at the time, said the shop’s owner, Alice Weis-Good.

“I heard the driver was hurt but she’ll make it,” Weiss-Good said. “I’m glad that none of my co-workers got hurt.”

“We just celebrated our fifth anniversary,” she added. “We will reopen Nubian Hair Studio. We have a lot of neighbors, so hopefully some will allow us to rent space.”

Police were still trying to determine how the crash happened. A source said the driver may have been intoxicated, but that hasn’t yet been confirmed.
