A woman slammed her car into a store on Canal Street today after suffering a seizure and striking another vehicle, authorities and witnesses said.

The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. when the woman tried making a turn and hit a car driven by James O’Connell.

The unidentified woman then struck the Pearl Paint store near Mercer Street.

O’Connell, 46, said he rushed over and saw the woman still had her foot stuck on the gas pedal.

“She started having a seizure and her foot was still on the gas,” O’Connell told The Post.

“I had to break the window to turn off the motor. The wheels were still turning,” he said.

The woman was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with head trauma.
