A 50-year-old woman was gravely injured when a car hit her as she crossed a Staten Island street Saturday morning, cops said.

The woman was walking in the crosswalk at the intersection of Richmond Road and Amboy Road in New Dorp at around 6:50 a.m. when she was struck by a gray 2014 Toyota Tacoma, police said.

The driver – a 72-year-old man – was turning left from Richmond onto Amboy when he struck the woman, cops said.

Emergency responders rushed the victim to Staten Island University North in critical condition, officials said.

The motorist remained on the scene and no arrests have been made. The NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad is investigating.
