A 72-year-old woman was in critical condition Monday after being hit by a Citi Bike van in Brooklyn, police said.

The accident happened at 6 a.m. as the elderly woman was trying to cross Dekalb Avenue in Clinton Hill, according to police.

The 21-year-old driver of the van was heading south on Clinton Avenue when he turned onto Dekalb Avenue and hit the woman, cops said.

EMS rushed the woman to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she was in critical condition, according to police.

It was not immediately known who had the light.

The driver stayed on the scene and no charges had been brought as of Monday afternoon.
