A cyclist suffered a deep gash after she tried to get her purse back from a woman in a passing car who swiped it in Brooklyn, cops said.
The 59-year-old victim was in the Broadway McDonald’s parking lot near Thornton Street in Williamsburg when the car, a black Scion, drove by, police said.
That’s when a woman in the passenger’s seat grabbed her purse at 2:45 p.m. May 25, police said.
The victim wouldn’t let go and she was dragged, but it wasn’t immediately clear for how long, cops said.
She suffered a deep laceration to the side of her face and swelling to her head, authorities said.
It wasn’t immediately clear if she was treated at the scene or went to a hospital.
The incident was captured in the surveillance video above.
