A 19-year-old woman was killed when a driver lost control of his car and jumped a curb, plowing into her as she waited for a bus at a city beach Saturday — and he’s in custody, cops said.

The woman, whose identity wasn’t released, was waiting for the bus at Beach 108th Street and Rockaway Beach Boulevard around 2:30 p.m. when she was struck by the compact car. 

She was rushed to Brookdale Hospital but couldn’t be saved, police said.

The 29-year-old driver was taken into custody with charges pending, cops said.

His name wasn’t immediately released.

It wasn’t immediately clear why he jumped the curb, police said.

Hours later the aftermath of the crash was evident, with rows of metal benches twisted and crushed by the car’s impact, and trees left destroyed.

Blood could still be seen on the ground and the side of the vehicle, with debris and garbage strewn about.
