A 74-year-old woman was fatally mowed down by an SUV in front of her Queens home on New Year’s Day – making her the first pedestrian killed by a vehicle in the city in 2020.

The victim, identified as Ok J. Kang, was crossing the street outside of the crosswalk on Northern Boulevard near Parsons Boulevard in Flushing at around 5:50 p.m. Wednesday when she was struck by a 2015 Jeep Cherokee, police said.

Kang was pronounced dead at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

The driver, a 43-year-old man, remained at the scene after the accident, according to cops.

No arrests were made as police continue the investigation.
