An intruder slipped into a Bronx home and tried to sexually assault a woman — but she fought back and her boyfriend scared him away, cops said Monday.

The man entered the Eastchester home on Light Street and Rombouts Avenue through an unlocked front door around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, cops said.

He went into the bedroom and tried to sexually assault the 26-year-old woman, but she resisted, kicking him in the leg, police said.

Suddenly, her boyfriend came home and asked, “Who are you?” The scared creep took off.

Nothing was taken from the home, and no injuries were reported, cops said.

Cops describe the suspect as a black man in his mid- to late 20s, about 5 feet 11, around 220 pounds, with brown eyes, a full beard and short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, gray jeans, blue sneakers and sunglasses.
