A Queens woman was discovered dead following a fire inside her apartment Tuesday night, police said.

Firefighters and police responded around 9:45 p.m. to the blaze inside a first-floor apartment at 4332 Kissena Blvd., a 16-story building in Flushing.

After extinguishing the blaze, they found the 65-year-old woman inside and pronounced her dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released pending family notification, police said.

The city medical examiner will determine how she died.

FDNY fire marshals are still investigating the cause of the blaze, according to an FDNY spokesman. Police did not immediately suspect foul play.
