A hoarder was killed when fire ripped through her Staten Island home early Monday, officials said.

The blaze started in the rear first floor of the two-story structure on Driggs Street in Great Kills at around 4 a.m. and quickly spread through the building, authorities said.

The woman was found dead after the flames were extinguished at around 7 a.m., officials said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but sources said the victim was known to be a hoarder.

Another 67-year-old woman was critically injured Monday during a two-alarm fire at her Bronx home, authorities said.

The fire started at around 8 a.m. inside a two-story home on Bronxwood Avenue in Wakefield.
