A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances yesterday in Brooklyn, authorities said.

The 44-year-old was staying with a friend on Batchelder Street near Voorhies Avenue in Sheepshead Bay after having a fight with her boyfriend, police sources said.

She was asleep on the couch when she was found around 7:50 p.m. not breathing, police said. The woman had injuries to her face, but it was unclear how those injuries were sustained, cops said.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the medical examiner, police said.
