The grisly remains of a 49-year-old woman were found wrapped in a bedsheet at her boyfriend’s apartment on the Lower East Side today cops said.

Police walked into the gruesome crime scene inside an apartment on Stanton Street near Bowery at 1:30 p.m. and found the victim.

Authorities have not immediately released the identity of the woman, a home health aid, but are questioning her 58-year-old boyfriend, sources said.

No one has been charged.

“Our children used to play together,” the woman’s friend James Hernandez, 35, a chauffeur said. “She was very kind, the epitome of a working mom.”

Hernandez said the boyfriend has been trying to convince the woman to move to Florida with him, but she had broken up with him instead.
