A woman went missing while she was swimming in Jamaica Bay, Queens on Sunday, sources said.

The 35-year-old woman was wading into the current off Bayswater at around 5:30 p.m. and was swept away by a wave, according to police sources.

“I saw the family going back there crying — running, crying saying: ‘those were my family,’” witness Aracelis Severino said.

Rescue crews were looking for her Sunday night.
