A woman was killed today after being struck by a subway in Greenwich Village, authorities said.

The accident happened at the 14th Street & Seventh Avenue station at 9:16 a.m. where the woman was hit by a northbound No. 2 train, said a spokeswoman for the MTA.

Express trains have been re-routed to the local track between Times Square and Chambers Street, said a spokeswoman for the MTA.
