A 52-year-old woman was killed and a 2-year-old girl critically injured by an SUV that blew a red light in Queens Tuesday night, police said.
At about 8 p.m., the 43-year-old SUV driver ran the light at Atlantic Avenue and 108th Street in Richmond Hill and was rammed by a Kia, cops said. The SUV was propelled onto the sidewalk where it struck three pedestrians.
Meena Mahabir of Woodhaven, was killed. The girl and a 58-year-old woman were rushed to Jamaica Hospital. The drivers of both vehicles and the older woman were in stable condition.
