A 53-year-old woman riding a motorized scooter was killed when a car slammed into her in Brooklyn Tuesday.

Carol Cardoni was riding across Nostrand Avenue in the crosswalk in Sheepshead Bay at 3:37 p.m. when the vehicle, a 2003 Infiniti sedan, struck her, according to police.

She went flying off the scooter and landed hard on the pavement and suffered severe head trauma, cops said.

She was rushed to Lutheran Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The driver remained at the scene and no charges were filed against him at this time.
