A woman is being questioned by police after her mom’s rotting corpse was discovered inside a Bronx apartment they shared, cops said.

The 64-year-old woman’s body was discovered only after a neighbor reported a foul leak coming into her apartment—which turned out to be bodily fluids from the corpse in the upstairs apartment, located near the New York Botanical Garden, police sources said.

Cops came to investigate at around 1 a.m. Saturday, making the the grisly discovery inside the fifth floor apartment on Decatur Avenue and East 199th Street.

There were no intimidate signs of trauma but the Medical Examiner’s office will do an autopsy to determine when and how she died, cops said.

The woman’s 30-year-old daughter has not yet been charged with a crime and police say she is only being questioned at this time.
