A woman was raped at knifepoint in Central Park on Monday by a man who offered to walk her home and then violently attacked her, cops said.
The 35-year-old woman was near West 110th Street and Lenox Avenue around 9 p.m. when the suspect approached her and escorted her into the park, according to police.
While they were in the park, the man pulled out a knife and physically assaulted, then raped the victim.
The attacker then ran off with the woman’s purse and cellphone.
