A woman was found floating in the East River on Tuesday morning, officials said.
She was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition. It’s not clear how she ended up in the drink, authorities said.
The woman was spotted by a passerby who called cops to report a possible drowning.
The FDNY arrived at East 23rd Street and the FDR Drive around 10 a.m. and removed the unidentified woman from the water.
