A woman is clinging to life after she was run over while lying down in a Bronx intersection, apparently drunk, early New Year’s Day, police sources said.

The 23-year-old woman was lying in the road near Story Avenue and White Plains Road in Soundview around 2:45 a.m. when she was hit by the vehicle, sources said.

She was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition.

Investigators are trying to determine whether the woman fell, passed out or lay down intentionally, according to the sources.

The driver stayed at the scene but criminality is not suspected on the driver’s part, the sources added.
