A woman was sitting on a park bench in Little Italy early Tuesday when she was suddenly stabbed in the back by a total stranger, authorities said.

Dieu Ho, 55, of The Bronx, was chatting on the phone with her husband as she waited for him to meet her at a bench on Mott Street near Grand Street, when she was slashed in the back with a sharp object at around 4:55 a.m., police sources said.

The random attacker ran north on Mott Street and remains at large.

Ho, whose husband owns a store in Chinatown, was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where she received stitches, her 27-year-old son, Long Ho, told The Post.

“She’s shaken, but she’ll be fine,” he said.
