A woman was slashed in the leg while waiting for a train at the Herald Square subway station in Manhattan on Monday evening, NYPD said.
The 34-year-old victim was waiting on the southbound M-train platform at the busy station around 6 p.m. when she was approached by a man who slashed her in the leg with an unknown object, police said.
The woman was transported by EMS to Bellevue Hospital where she is in stable condition.
