A woman was found slashed to death in a Washington Heights bathtub Friday night, and police are looking for her killer.
The 50-year-old victim was pronounced dead in her apartment at West 167th Street and Audubon Avenue, police said.
She had suffered slash wounds to her head, sources told The Post.
The victim’s name is Elizabeth, according to community members who gathered across the street from her five-story brick building late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
“This s— is shocking,” said one family friend, 40, who declined to give her name.
“I known the two of them my entire life. It’s unbelievable. It’s shocking to me. She was a good person. I saw no problems. I’ve never seen no fighting.”
