Two women got into a bloody brawl with a broken metal can outside of a Manhattan Thai restaurant Friday afternoon, police and witnesses said.

The women, aged 57 and 49, were near the corner of Grand and Forsyth Streets outside of Noree Thai around 4:12 p.m. when they got into a dispute, police and the FDNY said.

The women were arguing for a while when one of them whipped out a can and the 57-year-old was slashed in the neck by the 49-year-old.

“She was bleeding from her head and neck all over… it was really swollen,” said Jira Am, 28, an employee at the restaurant.

“They were arguing for a long time… then they started to fight,” Gary Lei, 39, added from a nearby deli.

The woman with the neck wound was taken to Bellevue Hospital and the 49-year-old was taken into custody and removed to Beth Israel Hospital to treat a small cut on her hand.

The weapon, which police said was an “unknown sharp object,” has not been recovered.
