A Brooklyn woman was ordered held on $1 million bail Saturday on a charge of stabbing her estranged lover to death in his Midwood apartment.

Shoshana Gweta, 38, had been arrested at the scene of the Thursday homicide on Ocean Avenue. She was caught — knife in hand — standing over the body of John Gillespie, who had been stabbed in the stomach, according to the criminal complaint against her.

Gweta has admitted she was trying to “scare” the victim, cops said.

“They were the neighborhood junkies — they would be literally screaming back and forth,” said Mendy Greenblatt, 29, a tenant at the building.

“She was from a good family — I don’t know how she came to be like that,” said another neighbor.

Gweta is charged with reckless manslaughter.
