An unhinged woman with a stone-cold stare stormed a popular Prospect Heights restaurant and whacked a diner with a glass bottle before socking four other people in a random attack Saturday.
“As she passed people, she just randomly hit them,” one of the victims recalled to The Post on Sunday, speaking on the condition that her name not be printed.
“She didn’t have any facial expression, like. ‘I’m angry’ or whatever. She just had a stone face,’’ the victim said of her attacker.
The attack occurred in Burrito Bar & Kitchen at 307 Flatbush Avenue in Prospect Heights at approximately 3:28 p.m. google mapsHilda Grullon, 44, allegedly launched her crazed attack when she busted into the Burrito Bar & Kitchen at 307 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn around at 3:28 p.m. and bludgeoned a 63-year-old man with a glass bottle, according to the NYPD.
The deranged suspect then barreled out of the Tex-Mex eatery and ambushed four more people — including a 52-year-old man and two women, 20 and 53, whom she clobbered in the face.
The female victim who talked to The Post said she was walking down the block with her cousin when she first noticed Grullon.
The victim said that even though Grullon appeared normal at a quick glance, she quickly noticed that something was off.
“She looks well put together. She doesn’t look homeless, she doesn’t look dirty. Except for the blood streaming down one side of her face,” the woman said.
No sooner after the woman noticed Grullon’s disheveled state did the psycho swing on her, knocking her in the face, the victim said.
“After she hit me, she just kept walking. By the time we turned around, she totally disappeared,” the woman said.
After getting her wits about her, the woman then saw Grullon go on to punch an old man before cops from a nearby precinct arrested her, the victim said.
A man who had been walking ahead of the victim with his wife and two children was also the recipient of a bang to the head and was the one who called the police.
This wasn’t the first time that Grullon has been arrested. She has a rap sheet with seven prior convictions, many of which are assaults, according to law-enforcement sources.
The woman who talked to The Post was rattled by the violence.
“As I passed her, she just hit me because I was on the outside. If my cousin was on the outside, she probably would have hit her,” the woman said.
“It was a random attack. That’s how you should report it, a random attack.”
