A 68-year-old woman was struck and killed by an MTA bus in the Bronx on Tuesday night, officials said.

Ruth Mullen was hit by the bus as she tried to cross the intersection of Johnson Avenue and Kappock Street in Spuyten Duyvil at about 8:30 p.m., authorities and sources said.

Mullen became pinned underneath the bus after the impact.

First responders were able to extricate Mullen from the bus, but she was pronounced dead on scene, according to the FDNY.

The bus remained at the scene of the accident.
