A woman survived after being hit by a southbound No. 1 train this morning at the 225th Street subway station.
It’s unclear whether the woman fell or jumped, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said. She hit around 7:43 a.m. and taken to St. Barnabus Hospital in Manhattan.
Subway service in both directions was suspended for about an hour between 242nd and 207th streets.
