A woman was struck by an oncoming subway train at the West 96th Street station Saturday morning, and stunned witnesses told authorities she jumped, police said.
A video obtained by The Post shows medics furiously trying to revive the lifeless victim, who police said was hit by a northbound 2/3 train at the station, located at 96th Street and Broadway, at 10:45 a.m.
The victim, a woman in her 60s, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, Manhattan, in critical condition, an NYPD spokeswoman said Saturday afternoon.
Police are withholding the woman’s name pending family notification. She was not expected to survive, authorities said.
