A 60-year-old woman was struck by a hit-and-run driver and dragged nearly a block near the Midtown Tunnel Sunday morning, police sources said.

The victim was hit in the crosswalk about 10:50 a.m. by a black SUV near East 38th Street and Tunnel Entrance Street.

After striking the woman, the vehicle kept going southbound with the woman stuck underneath and turned the wrong way onto East 37th Street, police said.

The victim finally became dislodged near East 37th Street and 1st Avenue, but the driver didn’t stop.

The critically injured woman was rushed to Bellevue Hospital.
