POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — State police say a woman survived a leap off a 135-foot-high Hudson River bridge.

Police say a call was placed from the Mid-Hudson Bridge’s help line Thursday morning but no conversation occurred. The woman was found conscious by the Poughkeepsie shore and taken to a local hospital.

Officials at St. Francis Hospital say they can’t release information on the woman’s condition. Police say they have no information on the extent of the injuries.
