A 28-year-old woman — believed to be a sex worker — was found dead in the hallway of a Queens apartment building early Monday, according to authorities and police sources.

The unidentified woman was discovered unconscious and unresponsive just after 4 a.m., lying on the fifth floor of the building on 57th Avenue, part of the LeFrak City apartment development in Corona, authorities said.

She was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where she was pronounced dead.

She was likely a sex worker, and there appeared to be drugs involved, police sources said.

However, the exact cause of death remains under investigation and will be officially determined by the city medical examiner’s office.
