A Brooklyn woman is begging others to help find her puppy amid Monday’s massive snowstorm — after the pooch went missing in a tragic car crash that claimed her fiancé’s life.
“He’s lost. He’s afraid. I’ve been trying everything I can but I can’t find him,” AnnMarie Fasano told The Post.
“I’m just so afraid.”
The 2-year-old cane Corso, Shadow, who Fasano says is often confused with a black lab, ran off Saturday morning when her husband-to-be Michael March crashed near Floyd Bennett Field.
“He doesn’t go anywhere without the dog,” Fasano, 45, said while fighting back tears. “The dog and him were like inseparable. The only place he goes without the dog is work.”
March had taken the dog out that morning in his Nissan Skyline to grab snacks for Fasano’s 13-year-old daughter, whom her longtime-friend-turned-partner had taken in as his own.
Police say the 42-year-old was speeding and lost control of the car just before 10:15 a.m. Saturday on the Belt Parkway on a curve near Gerritsen Inlet’s bridge. EMS extricated him from the car and took him to NYU Langone hospital, where he was initially believed to be stable, according to police.
Less than two hours later, March — a surgical tech at Brook Plaza Ambulatory Surgical Center in Brooklyn — had died.
“[He] just lost control and that was it,” Fasano said of her fiancé, who minutes earlier had left the house they’d recently bought in Gerritsen Beach to make for equal work commutes.
“But nobody saw the dog so I don’t know what happened.”
Fasano is pleading for help in finding her lost pup — a tragic reminder of the man she was set to marry in May.
“Even if he’s passed away, I would like to know. I was out all night looking,” she said.

Fasano launched a GoFundMe page to help raise cash for expenses.
