A woman wanted for the execution-style slaying of a mother in Brooklyn earlier this year was arrested in Florida on Monday morning, police said.

The 42-year-old suspect, who was not identified, will be extradited to New York to face charges for the Aug. 4 killing of Delia Johnson on a crowded Crown Heights sidewalk, police and sources said.

The suspect was picked up by authorities in Jacksonville. Additional information about her arrest was not immediately available.

NYPD Police Commissioner Dermot Shea lauded the arrest in a post to Twitter.

“You can run, but the long arm of the law will find you,” Shea wrote.

“The woman responsible for the August 4th murder of a #Brooklyn woman has been apprehended by our partners in Jacksonville, Florida.”

Johnson was shot at point-blank range from behind as she was talking on the phone on Franklin Avenue, a bustling thoroughfare in the central Brooklyn neighborhood.

Chilling surveillance footage released by police shows the suspect walk up to Johnson and shoot her in the head before nonchalantly walking back to a double-parked SUV and driving away.

Johnson’s relatives had previously said they recognized the female shooter as a one-time close family friend. The NYPD has not confirmed any connections between the two.

“I just hope that you realize what you did and [I] wonder what made you do such a thing,” Johnson’s 17-year-old daughter, Ladeya Jenkins, had told The Post at her mother’s wake.
