“Swan Lake” was a real pain in the neck for a Florida woman who claims someone “karate chopped” her from behind as she watched the Tchaikovsky ballet at Lincoln Center.
Linda Kirsch of Boca Raton was at the Metropolitan Opera last June, sitting in seat M11, when a person approached her from behind, she said in a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.
The unidentified attacker struck Kirsch “with a ‘karate chop’ to both shoulders” during the performance, she said in her legal claim against Lincoln Center, the American Ballet Theatre and the Metropolitan Opera House.
Kirsch, who asserts her assailant must have worked there, is seeking unspecified damages.
Lincoln Center did not respond to messages.
