Police pulled a woman’s body from the Buttermilk Channel in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon, cops said.

The body was spotted in the tidal strait between Pier 12 and Governors Island just after 1:30 p.m., according to police.

The NYPD’s Harbor Unit pulled the unresponsive woman, whose name or age was not immediately known, from the water and brought her to the Atlantic Ferry Basin Dock, where EMS pronounced the woman dead, cops said.

The city’s medical examiner will determine how the woman died.
