A car crashed into a Queens funeral home and burst into flames, cops said Monday.
The 55-year-old driver lost control of her sedan just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Little Neck Parkway and Northern Boulevard and crashed into the facade of the Doyle B. Shaffer Funeral Home, police said.
The car caught fire as a result of the impact with the building, according to police.
The collision left a massive hole in the side of the building and mangled the front end of the car, according to video of the scene posted to Citizen.
The motorist was taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she was treated for minor injuries, police said.
The Department of Buildings inspected the scene and declared the building structurally sound despite the damage, cops said.
The cause of the crash is not immediately clear, cops said.
