One cash-strapped transit agency’s discarded subway bench can be your treasure.

The MTA — which is now phasing in stainless-steel benches in subway stations — plans on selling the old wooden benches for $600 on its Web site, officials said.

“There’s always a demand for subway memorabilia,” said MTA spokesman Kevin Ortiz.

The wooden benches are gradually being replaced as the MTA makes station upgrades.
