A construction worker building the Second Avenue subway line was injured this morning when he plummeted off a ladder in a maintenance shaft.
The worker fell between six and eight feet off the ladder sometime before 7 a.m. FDNY medics took him to New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
He suffered minor head and shoulder injuries, NBC said.
MTA officials said the man was a subcontractor and is not employed by the agency.
